Looking for a good RTS and/or RPG game for PC

Hey y'all!

I'm looking for a good RPG or RTS to play on the PC...

I've played a lot of them but mostly I want something I haven't played before, doesn't have to be brand spanking new or anything.

RPGs i've played and enjoyed:
The elder scrolls series
The thief series

RTS i've played and enjoyed:
Command and conquer series
Rise of nations
Age of empires series

I've tried Might & Magic and didn't really enjoy it. I prefer it to be create a single character rather than a whole party.

Any ideas?
